Rintox Virtual Piano is a small software that creates a virtual piano keyboard on your computer desktop so you can play for a while and have some fun. You shouldn’t be waiting a professional application because it’s not. It’s more like an entertainment tool oriented to kids and non professional players who want to have this kind of game installed in their computers.
A good thing about the Rintox Virtual Piano is its extreme simplicity which doesn’t require any knowledge from you. All you have to do is to run the application and start playing. Just one window showing the piano keyboard and below it a section with a list of the instruments that Rintox Piano is capable to emulate. From classic sounds like “Acoustic Grand Piano” or “Harpsichord” to synthesized and new age sounds like “Helicopter”, “Gun Shot” and “Applause”.
You can play either from your mouse or your writing keyboard, but you can define the keys arrangement though. If you keep pressing a key, the sounds goes on, just like in a real piano. The virtual keyboard shows two and a half octaves and that’s all you’re going to get.
This application is freeware meaning that you won’t have to pay a buck to enjoy it, but you only will be able to access it if you are a Windows users since it doesn’t run on Linux or Mac.
